Ingredients
Pastry for a 9 inch, 2 crust pie.
6 Cups peeled and thinly sliced apples (I used Gala).
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
1 1/2 teaspoons stevia extract powder
3 tablespoons flour
1/4 Teaspoon Nutmeg
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
dash of salt
Directions
Fit bottom pastry into a pie dish. In a large bowl, sprinkle lemon juice over apples and stir to mix. In a small bowl, stir
together stevia, flour, nutmeg and cinnamon and salt. Sprinkle this mix over the apples and coat well. Pile apples into crust. Brush edges of the crust with water. Place upper crust on pie and crimp edges together. Slit top of pie to allow steam to escape. Brush outside crust with a little milk or cream to make it golden brown. Bake at 350 degrees in a preheated oven for about 55 minutes.
